Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.

1. General Terms

By accessing the Alt Radius and utilizing our ISP CRM software, whether through our Cloud plans or the Free Self-Hosted tier, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms of service contained in the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These terms apply to the entire website and any email or other type of communication between you and Alt Radius.

Under no circumstances shall the Alt Radius team be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data, network downtime, or loss of profit, arising out of the use—or the inability to use—the materials or software on this site, even if the Alt Radius team or an authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

2. License

Alt Radius grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install (via Docker or other provided methods), and use the software strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

These Terms & Conditions are a contract between you and Alt Radius (referred to in these Terms & Conditions as “Alt Radius”, “us”, “we” or “our”). You are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. In these terms, “you” refers both to you as an individual and to the ISP entity you represent.

3. Definitions and Key Terms

To help explain things as clearly as possible, every time any of these terms are referenced, they are strictly defined as:

  • Cookie: Small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser. Used to identify your browser and provide analytics.
  • Company: When this term mentions “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to Alt Radius, responsible for your information under these Terms & Conditions.
  • Device: Any internet-connected device such as a server, router (MikroTik, Cisco, etc.), phone, or computer used to access Alt Radius.
  • Service: Refers to the ISP CRM, RADIUS server management, billing automation, and subscriber portal provided by Alt Radius.
  • Third-party service: Refers to payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal), accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks), and hardware vendors (MikroTik, Cisco).
  • Website: Alt Radius’s site, which can be accessed via the URL: https://altradius.com/
  • You: A person or entity (ISP) registered with Alt Radius to use the Services.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

  • License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, or otherwise commercially exploit the software or make the platform available to any third party not managed under your ISP umbrella.
  • Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile, or reverse engineer any part of the Alt Radius core source code.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including copyright or trademark) of Alt Radius or its affiliates.

5. Payment and Billing

If you register for our Cloud plans (Starter, Standard, or Professional), you agree to the following:

  • Fees: You agree to pay all fees or charges to your account in accordance with the annual or monthly billing terms in effect.
  • Verification: By providing payment information, you authorize Alt Radius to verify and invoice your account for all fees due.
  • Price Changes: Alt Radius reserves the right to change prices and billing methods at any time. Any changes will be posted on our site or communicated via email to your administrator.
  • Delinquency: Any attorney fees or costs incurred in the collection of delinquent amounts shall be your responsibility.

6. Return and Refund Policy

As Alt Radius provides digital software and mission-critical cloud resources, we maintain a strict refund policy:

  • Self-Hosted Tier: No refunds are provided once the software has been deployed on your server via our script or Docker image.
  • Cloud Plans: Refunds will not be provided if our team has provided more than 3 hours of technical support or migration assistance.
  • Trial Period: We encourage the use of our Free Tier to evaluate the software before committing to a paid Professional or Standard plan.
  • Installation: If a custom domain and SSL setup have been completed by our team, that portion of the service is non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

The website and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the RADIUS architecture, billing logic, and UI design) are owned by Alt Radius and protected by international copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of the software code is strictly prohibited.

8. Your Suggestions

Any feedback, ideas, or improvements (collectively, “Suggestions”) provided by you to Alt Radius shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Alt Radius. We shall be free to use, copy, or redistribute the Suggestions for any purpose without any credit or compensation to you.

9. Third-Party Services

Alt Radius integrates with various third-party tools (MikroTik, Stripe, WhatsApp, etc.). You acknowledge that Alt Radius is not responsible for the accuracy, uptime, or legality of these Third-Party Services. Use of these integrations is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

10. Term and Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by you or Alt Radius. We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account if you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and delete all copies of the self-hosted version from your servers.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Alt Radius and its officers and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your: (a) use of the software; (b) violation of this Agreement; or (c) mismanagement of your ISP's subscriber data or network traffic.

12. No Warranties (Disclaimer)

The Service is provided to you “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alt Radius disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific network requirements, achieve any intended result, or operate without interruption.

13. Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding any damages you might incur, the entire liability of Alt Radius under any provision of this Agreement shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any ISP network outages, "billing chaos," or loss of subscriber data resulting from improper server configuration on self-hosted instances.

14. Uptime and Performance

While we guarantee 99.9% uptime for our Cloud-hosted infrastructure, we cannot guarantee performance for the Self-Hosted Tier, as it is dependent on your hardware (SSD/HDD requirements) and local network environment (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS compliance).

15. Agreement to Arbitrate

Any dispute arising out of this agreement, except for claims relating to intellectual property rights, shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the International Arbitration Association.

16. Typographical Errors

In the event a plan or service is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, Alt Radius reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that service, even if the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.

17. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Any waiver of these terms must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Alt Radius.
