Title: The plan name
The title must be according to the guidelines of an ISP. A good example is “10 Mbps Home- Monthly” or “Fiber 100 Mbps-30days.”
Internet plan code: A plan code name for ISPs to use for customer presentation.
Description:
It should be internal notes for admin/staff. For example: “Standard residential plan for home users. It includes a 100GB data quota. Suitable for 2 to 4users at home.
Internet Specification
Download speed(Mbps): Specify the download speed of a tariff plan. When you download any file, how much speed can it provide?
Upload Speed(Mbps): Specify how much speed the tariff plan offers you for sending a file on the internet.
IP Pool
IPv4: Group name of IP pool already defined in the Radius server database, so that the ISP can automatically assign an IP address to their clients from a certain IPv4 pool.
IPv6: IP pool name ranges IPv6 addresses defined in the Radius Server so that IP addresses from a particular IPv6 range are automatically assigned to the customer.
Speed
Guaranteed Speed:
The guaranteed speed tells about the ISP speed that must be provided to the user, irrespective of the situation.
Fixed Speed:
In case of a downfall of internet speed, the customer gets a fixed upload and download speed. Here, ISP will define the upload and download limits for internet speed.
Relative Speed:
If an ISP selects a relative speed option. The customer will get a few percentage points of the speed as defined in the tariff plan.
Burst
A speed that an ISP needs to provide to its customers during a sudden drop in speed for any reason. This speed is given for a few seconds to maintain the connectivity of the customer and avoid any disruption.
Burst download Speed: ISP provides a high download speed burst when the download speed goes down.
Burst Upload Speed: ISP provides an upload speed burst when the download speed goes up.
Threshold download limit: Download speed limit of the customer when reached, to the burst speed.
Threshold Upload limit: Upload speed limit of the customer when reached, to the activated burst speed.
Burst Time: It is a time period in seconds for activating burst upload or download speed.
Router Specific Attributes
Different vendors have multiple attributes for router specification. It is assigned at the time of the tariff plan. These attributes are optional. If you don't add them, they will automatically be assigned to the router.
MikroTik:
Priority: choose 1 to 8, the user with 1will get higher bandwidth in case of congestion of traffic
Bison:
Shaper Engine ID: number according to user type for router traffic through the high processing chip
Shaper Algorithm ID: ID number for implementing snappy effect, like 5 for token bucket and 2 for strict shaping
Burst Bucket Size: burst speed the user gets when clicking on the link
QoS Map: for prioritizing voice data over downloading
Billing Option
ALT RADIUS offers two types of billing options. One is a prepaid and a postpaid plan, according to the customer's needs.
Prepaid: Define what kind of tariff plan category it lies in. The first customer pays the amount and then uses the internet service.

Duration type: monthly, yearly, weekly, daily
Price
Cost Price: The price ISP is offering for a tariff plan

Tax included: If tax is included in the cost price
Defining Level Rates (Maintaining Transparency in Rates)
Levels
It is the hierarchy level of pricing. If the senior partner has to sell the tariff plan. How much profit margin can they earn? Similarly, in the case of a partner and an agent. How much they can take minimum/maximum profit percentage has been set. It prevents partners from overcharging their customers.

From company to the senior partner
Minimum Selling Profit: The % shows the minimum profit rate at which the senior partner sells a particular tariff plan partner
Maximum Selling Profit: The % shows the maximum profit rate that the senior partner sells a particular tariff plan to the partner
Min Customer Selling Profit: The minimum percentage profit at which the senior partner sells tariff plans to customers directly.
Max customer selling profit: The minimum percentage profit at which the senior partner sells tariff plans to the customers directly.
Senior Partner to Partner
Minimum Selling Profit: The minimum profit rate at which further partners sell this particular tariff plan to the agent
Maximum Selling Profit: The maximum profit rate at which further partners sell this particular tariff plan to the agent
Min Customer Selling Profit: The percentage at which a partner can sell tariff plans at minimum profit to the customers directly.
Max customer selling profit: The percentage at which a partner can sell tariff plans at maximum profit to the customers directly.
Partner to Agent
Min Customer Selling Profit: The minimum percent profit an agent can sell a tariff plan to the customers directly.
Max Customer Selling Profit: The maximum profit percentage an agent can apply on the selling rate to sell the tariff plans to the customers directly.
This hierarchy level is defined in ALT RADIUS for fair data selling rates and maintains transparency throughout the system.
Expiration
On the tariff plan date ending, if the customer does not pay the invoice, the ISP can automatically disconnect the customer or continue giving service by decreasing the speed to a very low value. ISP sets the value in the Expiration option.
Action on Expiration
-
Continue: This will remain connected with internet users, but with a very slow speed
-
Disconnect: This will cut off the customer from using the service
IP Pool: Define to which IP pool ISP shifts the customer upon ending the tariff plan when the COA request is called.
Download Speed(Mbps): The minimum download speed the customer gets upon expiration
Upload Speed(Mbps): The minimum upload speed the customer gets upon expiration
Disable
When a partner manually disables customers from accessing the internet service. Use this option. The status of the customer is blocked in this case.
Action on Disable: Decide which action to do in case of disable
-
Continue: It will continue customer service at a very low speed
-
Disconnect: It will completely disable the customer from using the internet service
IP Pool: Define to which IP pool the customer shifts on blocking from the partner
Download Speed(Mbps): The min download speed the customer receives
Upload Speed(Mbps): The min upload speed the customer receives
Data Quota
The data quota defines what action to take when a customer exceeds a particular amount of data defined in the tariff plan.
Data Quota Volume: Fix the volume of data in GBs for a particular tariff plan. You can keep this value blank for an unlimited data plan
Data Quota Action: If the user exceeds the data quota limit, two actions can be taken
-
Disconnect: The user is totally disconnected
-
FUP Limit: The speed slows down when the user reaches a data limit.
IP Pool: The customer shifts to another IP pool mentioned here due to data limit.
Download Speed: The min download speed occurs
Upload Speed: The min upload speed occurs
Add Allocations (Optional)
With allocations, ISP can increase the speed of the internet for particular days and times in a plan.
Day: Select which day you want to activate this option
Start Time: You can select the “starting time” for fast speed
End Time: You can select the “ending time” for fast speed
Download Speed: Select the “download speed” for extra speed
Upload Speed: Select the “upload speed” for extra speed
